Prior to coming to Lawtons, Jane had another career as a Marketing Executive where she developed a range of skills and abilities that serves to enhance the service she delivers to those clients whose cases she works on. In her previous career, Jane was a great success and worked for one of the ‘Top 100’ law firms in the Country, Radcliffes Le Brasseur.
Since coming to ‘crime’ she has worked for another local Firm, First Defence and, before that, she gained great legal experience at international firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where she worked exclusively on the Three Rivers District Council v The Governor of the Bank of England, matter, which is the longest running litigation in English legal history stemming from the collapse of BCCI bank.
Now she is at Lawtons and actively involved in her Training Contract, under the supervision of her more Senior colleagues, she is responsible for own caseload in the Magistrates' and Crown Court, which involves her working on a range of cases including serious offences such as murder, sexual offences, theft and fraud.
