As one of the Founders of the Company Stephen has a vast level of experience in all types of cases. This ranges from cases, from the Magistrates Court through to the Court of Appeal.

Having attended school locally, Cardinal Newman followed by Luton Sixth Form College, Stephen read for and completed a Degree at the University of Leeds in International History and Politics. A Law conversion course at the York College of Law followed and Stephen qualified as a Solicitor in 1999. Since that time he has specialised in Criminal Defence work.

Stephen has the relevant level of experience to act as a Case Supervisor for VHCC Panel cases and has undertaken that role previously. He has also Prosecuted cases on behalf of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). He has also acted in cases involving Prosecutions by the other major bodies listed under the Business Crime Link.

Stephen is also a current Peer Reviewer. The Peer Review scheme, run by the Legal Services Commission, is to ensure Quality for the profession. To be appointed to such a position involved an interview and assessment process. The files of the Company were also audited to ensure that they meet the highest required standard – they did.

Along with Alan Jones, Stephen deals with Road Traffic matters.

Stephen is a current Duty Solicitor and member of the Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme run by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
